Friends of FoCo Fondo Fest is now accepting submissions for its inaugural short film festival on January 8th. If you have a five to twenty minute bike related short film, you are invited to submit it for consideration. Films can be humorous, emotional, creative, or reflective. Submissions are due by 8 pm Mountain Time on December 24 and should be sent as a Vimeo, YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar link to friendsoffocofondo@gmail.com. Creators whose films are selected will receive a free entry to the event.
The Friends of FoCo Fondo Film Fest will take place at The Lyric. The community is invited to gather for the love of the bike and step away from the trainer for a night at the theater. Doors open at 5:30 pm for socializing and drinks. The program in the Space Theater begins at 6 pm and includes an introduction, film screenings and a brief intermission.
Topo Designs Fort Collins is supporting the new event. If the weather cooperates there will be a group ride from Topo Designs at 4:30 pm to The Lyric. Riders should bring lights.
Tickets are twenty five dollars and net proceeds support Friends of FoCo Fondo 501(c)(3) programming. Anyone who needs financial assistance to attend can email whitney@bikesportsco.com.
