A GoFundMe campaign has been established to assist longtime local cyclists, Tim Fegel and Jess Stanley after an electrical fire damaged their home. On June 11th an electrical fire did over $20,000 worth of damage to their home and property and left it uninhabitable. Jess and Tim were at work at the time of the fire. A Poudre Fire Authority investigation revealed that a nail being used to attach Wains Coating was driven through aluminum wiring by the previous owner causing a short.  Since these renovations were not up to local building codes their homeowner’s insurance will not cover the repairs or the replacing any of their belongings.
