A former member of the Fort Collins cycling community, Hugh MacEachran, has been diagnosed with lymphoma.

The relatively good news is that the cancer appears to be treatable.  He will be undergoing 8 weeks of chemotherapy. 
The bad news is that Hugh’s wife was recently laid off from her corporate job.  In addition to having their income cut in half, the family now finds itself paying for the very expensive COBRA insurance monthly premium solely via Hugh’s income.  That income will undoubtedly be affected by Hugh’s chemo treatments. Hugh raced out of the Fort for decades until he and his twin brother Ainslie MacEachran were forced to close their Loveland health club during the latest recession.  He now lives in Denver with his wife and two young children.
