After 16 years as a weeknight fixture in Fort Collins, the City Streets Criterium Series is entering a new era in 2025—with a new location, new name, and continued commitment to grassroots bike racing.
Now called the Stadium Criterium Series, the race series will be held at Timnath Middle High School (Poudre School District Stadium, 4700 E. Prospect Rd., Timnath, CO) on Thursdays: June 5, 12, 19, and 26. The new .87-mile circuit, which alternates between clockwise and counterclockwise each week, offers a smooth, spectator-friendly course for racers and fans alike. The previous City Streets course was .44 miles long. You can preview the new course here: Strava Route. If you’d like to volunteer, it would be appreciated. Sign up here.

From City Streets to the Stadium
The City Streets series began in 2008, launched by Tim Anderson and Andy Clark under Legacy Energy / Ciclismo Racing. It was handed off to the Ciclismo Youth Foundation (CYF) from 2010 to 2012, then taken over in 2013 by First City Cycling, now operating as the Miiflow Cycling Team. The series has been proudly supported by community sponsors including Corndoggies and Elevations Real Estate.
Unfortunately, a change in City of Fort Collins policy regarding external events at city-owned facilities meant organizers could no longer use the original City Streets venue. After a fast-paced search, Timnath Middle High School stepped up, providing a new home and a fresh chapter for this community-centered series.
The 2025 Stadium Criterium Series is managed by Cole Evans, Rob Howe, and Shane Garland.
