This week we’re taking the bike Kristen Arnold rode for her Kokopelli FKT attempt on Oct 8th for a spin. Kristen, a cycling coach, nutritionist, and pro roadie living here in the Fort, was encouraged by the DS of ButcherBox Cycling to pursue personal projects since the 2020 road season was over before it started. She set her sights on the Kokopelli Trail FKT of 13:32. Since her team bike sponsor Montecci doesn’t build MTBs, she rode her 2018 Orbea Occam AM.
