I’m happy to announce that the Send Town Bike Club is bringing back both New Belgium Short Track and New Belgium Cyclocross this Summer and Fall.

The Send Town Bike Club (formally the Ciclismo Youth Foundation) announced today that after a year and a half-long COVID-induced hiatus NBST and NBCX will return to the New Belgium campus on Tuesday nights. The short track mountain bike series will take place September 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th, 2021. The cyclocross series will follow immediately after on October 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. Both series will prime the 1.6-mile course for Cross of the North, hosted by the First City Cycling Team, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, November 6th and 7th. The last time racing was held at New Belgium was with Cross of the North on November 9-10, 2019 and with NBCX just before that. The Send Town Bike Club has been hosting races at New Belgium for 15 years (give or take).
The series, course, and format will remain mostly unchanged from past years with the exception of online registration being mandatory this year, for real this time. More details will be released here and on the Send Town Bike Club website as we get closer to go time.

Howling Cow offers a comfortable patio with views of the foothills, great coffee, Ummbers IceCream, Noosa Yoghurt, baked goods, and other…
