Over the next several weeks, YGR will be profiling all the local cycling teams. First up is 9Seventy Racing. 9Seventy is a relatively new team but they’ve experienced steady growth over the past couple of years.
9Seventy Racing is a co-ed multi-sport racing team based out of Fort Collins, CO with athletes out of Northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. We have athletes ranging from beginner to Pro level and age groups ranging from juniors to masters. We have a friendly and supportive culture and encourage our members to try new sports and love to mentor those new to any disciplines. We regularly schedule social events, group workouts, informational events, and do a lot of volunteer work as well. Goals for our team this year include the Boston Marathon, Bite the Bullet Gran Fondo, Bailey Hundo, Boulder Ironman, Laramie Mountain Bike Series, USAT Nationals, and loads of local grassroots racing including the YGR time trials and New Belgium short course.
