The cold is coming our way! Learn how to keep pedaling year-round during FC Bikes upcoming Bike Winter classes and events. Next week they’ll be at CSU teaching Cycling in Winter and handing out free bike lights at Light Up the Night in the CSU flea market.

Cycling in Winter 10/28- Interested in riding year-round, but not sure how to prepare for the colder season? Learn tips and techniques to help you ride safely, confidently, and comfortably. Topics include what to wear, what to ride, safe winter bike handling, route selection, and winter bike maintenance. 5-6:30 PM at CSU Lory Student Center Rm 312. Light up the Night 10/28- Did you know that front lights are required on bicycles at night? Are you in need of a light? Stop by one of our “Light Up the Night” events to receive important cycling related information and a free light to keep you riding bright (while supplies last). Drop by between 4:30 and 7 PM at CSU Lory Student Center Flea Market.

Can’t make these classes? Cycling in Winter is also scheduled for 11/5 and 12/7 along with more chances to pick up your bike lights at Light up the Night. Check www.fcgov.com/bikewinter for specific times and locations or other winter riding resources.

Winter Bike to Work Day Stations Hosts Wanted Call for WBTWD Station hosts ends at 5 PM 10/28. Visit www.fcgov.com/bikewinter for more information or to complete the online interest form. The 9th annual WBTWD will be from 7-9:30 AM on Wednesday 12/9.
