Stage one:
Our very own Whitney Allison won the bunch sprint to take 2nd place on the day. She’s now 48 seconds out of 1st place and 2 seconds ahead of 3rd. With Chloe Dygert, the stage winner, in the leader’s jersey, Whit will wear the sprinter’s jersey for stage 2. Mel Beale rolled in in 49th place 7:15 back. Final GC:
Congrats to our own Whitney Allison on her 10th place finish in the Colorado Classic GC and her second-place ride on stage 1! Mel Beale had some bad luck on stage 2 with a flat tire, behind the caravan, and unfortunately finished outside the time cut and wasn’t able to finish all 4 stages.
Chloé Dygert won all 4 stages and all available jerseys. Talk about domination!
