Strava introduced a free feature that may simplify activity planning and communication for its members. Users can now plan activities, share routes, and coordinate events directly within the Strava platform via Messaging.

Strava’s latest update provides three options for user control:

  • Following: Anyone you follow can message you.
  • Mutuals: People will only be able to message you if you follow each other.
  • No One: No one can message you first. Only you will be able to start chats with other people.
