Nate Adams and Stu Travis ride the Niner Bikes WFO 9 in Horsetooth Mountain Park near Fort Collins

The Four Seasons of Horsetooth Mountain Bike Challenge is a grass-roots un-event with no entry fees and no real start times and is ridden on the two solstices and two equinoxes in Horsetooth Mountain Park and Lory State Park. By being required to complete at least three seasonal stages, we hope it encourages you to come ride if your schedule doesn’t permit on any given stage. The course is designed to offer what we think are the best sections of trail in our backyard. The course should take about 2-3 hours. Had fun in the autumn? Bring a friend for the winter stage! Don’t own a fancy team kit or 20lb race bike? Neither do we! Come ride for the fun and challenge of completing all four events!

  • When? No real start times, and it is ridden on the two solstices and two equinoxes, one race each season.
