As of today, December 10th, 2020, the cyclocross skills course at Rossborough Park is closed for the season. The pilot program will now enter the evaluation period by Parks Planning staff. Over the next few days, cycling community members and Parks Department staff will remove the barriers and switch out course signing. The sandpit will remain at least during the evaluation period. Please discontinue use of any remaining features until the evaluation period is complete.
A neighborhood meeting will be held in early 2020. Input on the pilot program received from staff, course users and neighbors will be evaluated to determine the future of the pilot project at Rossborough Park. If all goes well the course will reopen permanently with improvements in the late summer of 2020.
