rsd racing2

In the coming weeks YGR will be profiling all the local race teams in town. We’ve got roughly 10 teams with hundreds or racers gearing up for the 2017 season. Some have some huge sponsor and rider signing information to release others are nearly the same as 2016 others still are brand spanking new.

We’re starting with one of those brand new teams, RSD Racing. RSD stands for Rubber Side Down and is mostly comprised of former members of 9Seventy Racing. The 13 rider roster will focus on mountain bike, cyclocross and gravel racing. The guys are sponsored by Niner, Peloton, Maxline Brewing and managed by Larry Linne and Eric Rubottom .  Linne had this to say about the upstart team, We are a few guys that want to train hard and race. We don’t take ourselves too serious. We cat up as fast as possible to get into better quality racing. We love to get dirty. We get on a lot of podiums, but that isn’t the team goal. We simply want an environment where friends can go ride bikes with no drama.
