2018 CX poster

Cheyenne and and Laramie Wyoming will be hosting their Southeast Wyoming Cyclo-cross Series again this fall. The 4 race series takes place at either Laprele Park in Laramie or at Clear Creek Park in Cheyenne. The first 3 races are free but the final race which is part of the Cowboy State Games and is the state championships is $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for juniors. Fort Collins sent a total of 10 riders up to the series last year. Lets see if we can quadrupedal that this year.  The November races don’t conflict with any Colorado USAC Cyclo-cross races.

2017 Southeast Wyoming Cyclocross City Championships
Cheyenne successfully defended the SE-WYO-CX CowBell, awarded to the city that produced the most racers, and reinforced its prominence as the CX capital of Wyoming by fielding the most riders in 3 of the 4 races in the 2017 Southeast Wyoming Cyclocross Series.
Total riders fielded over the 4 races = 56

Laramie came out in force for the two races it hosted, winning the traveling trophy at its first home race – beating Cheyenne by a single rider and only loosing by a single rider at the second Laramie race. Those two results assisted Laramie in taking second place (again) in the city competition.
Total riders fielded over the 4 races = 25

Ft. Collins consistently sent riders up and had a racer in every race and took third in the city competition.
Total riders fielded over the 4 races = 10

Saratoga produced an up and coming JR. racer who (thanks parents!) raced in 3 of 4 of the races and single handily handed Saratoga a piece of fourth place in the city competition.
Total riders fielded over the 4 races = 3

Casper sent a contingent to the last race and helped the oil city tie for fourth.
Total riders fielded over the 4 races = 3

Charleston, SC produced a single rider at a Laramie event and rounded up the city competition in sixth place.
Total riders fielded over the 4 races = 1

He first sponsored an elite road team in 1999. His title sponsorship of that team continues nearly 25 years later and has catapulted riders like Tejay van Garderen, Chad Haga and Mara Abbot into the World Tour. In addition to the elite road team, Pat has advertised on YGR since 2009 (my second…
