Send Town Coach Training Program-2023

Send Town Bike Club has released the details of its free coach training program. The classes will take place on February 25th, March 4th, and March 11th. Full details are below.

CSU Race Weekend 2023

The CSU road race weekend will take place on April 22nd and 23rd this year. Saturday's circuit race will feature the Cobb Lake Circuit Race, and we'll finally return to the classic CSU Oval course on Sunday.

Ciclismo Coaching 2023 Programing

Coach AC (Andy Clark) with Ciclismo Coaching has released his youth programming for the 2023 season.  This summer will feature a national mtb racing program, a local (Colorado) mtb program, and the Colorado High School Cycling League program. Each of these programs will include fitness and skills coaching, practices led by local mtb experts, and support at races.  See each program for information on dates, ages, prices, coaches, and more.

Bicycle Colorado- Racing Update

As YGR reported back in December, Colorado Cycling, aka BRAC, aka Bicycle Racing Association of Colorado, was absorbed by Bicycle Colorado. On January 20th, they sent out an update which can be read here.

Tayne’s Search for Stars and Stripes at CX Nats

Tayne Andrade, who currently rides for Team Rio Grande Racing and is wrapping up his final season with CSU had a remarkable and diverse 2022 season. Riding for CSU, he managed to climb on the podium at collegiate road, mtb and cyclocross nationals. Riding for TRGR he won races or at least podiumed in each of those disciplines throughout the season. Tayne wrote the following article about his Cyclocross Nations experience for the TRGR blog and allowed YGR to rerun it.

2023 Gravel Graceland

Looking for a fully supported gravel experience in Northern Colorado? Gravel Graceland is a three day gravel camp (not camping) based out of the Fort and run by Whitney and Zack Allison. The 30-50 mile rides are fully supported and traverse a mix of gravel, pavement, and single track. Sendtown Program Registration Opens

Stolen Yeti Heads Back to PA

I’m happy to report that thanks to a joint effort between YGR and Fort Collins Police Services, this Yeti will soon be on its way home to Pittsburg!

Weld County Grinder

WCG is a gravel group ride on a 66-mile loop starting in Nunn, Colorado. 99% of the route is Weld County gravel roads in and around the Pawnee National Grasslands. One aid station is provided.

High Plains Drifter

The High Plains Drifter is a 330-mile unsupported bikepacking adventure following a mix of gravel roads and double in Northern Colorado. There are no fees, prizes or sign-up. The route is approximately 70% gravel, 10% B roads, 10% single-track and 10% hard surface.

North South Colorado

The North South Bikepacking race is set to roll out from Fort Collins again in 2023. The 595-mile self-supported gravel race (similar to the CTR) with roughly  48500 feet of elevation gain will end in Trinidad, CO. The route has about 200 miles of pavement, 300 of gravel, and 15-30 miles of singletrack.
