2023 Gravel Graceland

Looking for a fully supported gravel experience in Northern Colorado? Gravel Graceland is a three day gravel camp (not camping) based out of the Fort and run by Whitney and Zack Allison. The 30-50 mile rides are fully supported and traverse a mix of gravel, pavement, and single track. Plus, PLUS you get to hang out with Lauren Nagle who will be your mechanic and SAG driver for the weekend. Hit YGR for dates, pricing and to see what else is included.

Sendtown Program Registration Opens

Registration has opened for all of the Send Town Bike Club's spring youth MTB programs.  Brief information, including dates and prices for the Spring (HS & MS) Mountain Bike Program, Spring Muni Program, GrassRoots Program and Girls Only MTB Program, can be found here.

Stolen Yeti Heads Back to PA

I’m happy to report that thanks to a joint effort between YGR and Fort Collins Police Services, this Yeti will soon be on its way home to Pittsburg!

Weld County Grinder

WCG is a gravel group ride on a 66-mile loop starting in Nunn, Colorado. 99% of the route is Weld County gravel roads in and around the Pawnee National Grasslands. One aid station is provided.

High Plains Drifter

The High Plains Drifter is a 330-mile unsupported bikepacking adventure following a mix of gravel roads and double in Northern Colorado. There are no fees, prizes or sign-up. The route is approximately 70% gravel, 10% B roads, 10% single-track and 10% hard surface.

North South Colorado

The North South Bikepacking race is set to roll out from Fort Collins again in 2023. The 595-mile self-supported gravel race (similar to the CTR) with roughly  48500 feet of elevation gain will end in Trinidad, CO. The route has about 200 miles of pavement, 300 of gravel, and 15-30 miles of singletrack.

The North South Bikepacking race is set to roll out from Fort Collins again in 2024. The 500+-mile self-supported gravel race (similar to the CTR) with roughly  48500 feet of elevation gain will end in Trinidad, CO. The route has about 200 miles of pavement, 300 of gravel, and 15-30 miles of singletrack (all +-).

FoCo Fondo, Ned Gravel, Co2uT and Telluride Gravel Join Forces

The FoCo Fondo has joined forces with three independent Colorado gravel races to create the Colorado Summer of Gravel Series. Four races built on an omnium format with payouts for women, men and non-binary racers. Points and placings are separate to overall race results. i.e. You may be 118th place at CO2UT in the overall for the 125 mile race results but 7th Male SOG finisher and you would receive points based on the 7th place male finisher in the SOG standings.

Race the Ramble 2023

Peter Discoe and the Ramble Rides crew have added a race to their usually super chill portfolio.  Race the Ramble is a 125-mile gravel race in Jackson County, Colorado in late August. Here's the twist, racers must compete in teams of two or four riders.

FoCo Fondo Training Rides

Whit and Zack with Bike Sports are hosting several training rides leading into this summer’s FoCo Fondo. The rides are free, but you must sign a waiver. The Fondo takes place on July 23rd.

RioSwap 2023

RioSwap 2023 will take place on Sunday, March 5th. RioSwap is one of the crown jewels of the YGR empire. The annual bike/outdoor gear swap and season launch party is hosted by YGR in the Rio’s Agave Room. Admission is free, vendor tables are cheap and the Rio chips, salsa and margs are fantastic.
