Larimer County currently has two advisory boards with openings that could benefit from having cyclists as members. Application deadlines for both the Open Lands and Parks advisory boards are due April 21st.

Open Lands Advisory Board

The Open Lands Advisory Board makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding the County’s share of the Help Preserve Open Spaces sales and use tax. The membership of the advisory board represents a balance in geography, population, and interest.

Time Commitment: 6-7 hours per month
Meets: Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Larimer County Loveland Campus Building, 200 Peridot Ave, Poudre River Room, Loveland.

Parks Advisory Board

The Parks Advisory Board, created as an extension of the Parks Master Plan Task Force, makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding the implementation of the Parks Master Plan. Board members work closely with park visitors, the community, the Bureau of Reclamation and park staff.
