RITUAL Mountain Bike Film Tour

Mountain biking enthusiasts in Fort Collins are gearing up for an exciting evening as the RITUAL Mountain Bike Film Tour, presented by Shimano and powered by Outside, makes its way to The Lyric on April 15th. This national film tour showcases the world of mountain biking through breathtaking cinematography, compelling stories, and the talents of some of the sport’s most impressive athletes.

Soapstone, Red Mountain & Hermit Park Reopen

Soapstone Prairie Natural Area, Red Mountain Open Space and Hermit Park Open Space have reopened for the season. Soapstone Prairie Natural Area, managed by Fort Collins Natural Areas, Hermit Park Open Space and Red Mountain Open Space, managed by Larimer County, close annually in December and reopen on March 1st. The public open spaces close each winter due to the "sensitive wintering range for large mammals and low recreational opportunities."

HART 2025 Team Update

Last year HART Cycling earned several international podiums, top 10 finishes at National Championships, a top 5 in a Pan-American Championship race, and represented the USA and our sponsors in four World Cup races. From chasing Olympic Champions to battling with Lifetime Grand Prix athletes to coaching junior riders through tricky championship courses, HART Cycling had a blast!
This year HART Cycling is looking for podiums and wins in our favorite national and international events. Outside the race-tape, HART Cycling is doubling down on our mission to see people healthy and active.

CSU Race Course Recon

CSU Cycling will host a race course recon ride on Saturday, March 1st. The ride will allow the community to preview the CSU Criterium course and the Cobb Lake Circuit Race course, which is usually closed to the public.

Spring Mountain Unicycle Program

Registration is open for Sendtown's Spring mountain unicycle program. Riders can sign up for one or two days per week. The program runs from March 31st through May 17th. $200 for both days (Monday and Saturday). $100 for one day (either Monday or Saturday). 

Caveworks RIVET Indoor Bike

We rounded up some information on the Fort Collins based Caveworks RIVET indoor bike for you. Former Fort Collins resident/cyclist Jason Haney is the CEO and founder. Anthony Lenz, Fort Collins cyclist/resident, is President and co-designer.

2025 CSU Rams Cycling

Last year, the team had an incredibly successful road season, with accomplishments including a win at the USAC Collegiate Road Nationals in the TTT. The team hopes to defend this title and rack up more accolades during this upcoming season. In MTB, the team dominated and brought home national titles in dual slalom, downhill, XC team relay, and short track XC. Lastly, we are bringing back the Oval Criterium and Cobb Lake Road Race for another year this coming April and invite the community to come race, cheer, and volunteer!

FTC Bike Park Website

The Fort Collins Bike Park Collective has rolled out a new website emphasizing the need for a bike park in Fort Collins, specifically within a community park on the old Hughes Stadium site.

CSU Cycling’s 2025 Team Camp

Last month, members of the CSU Rams Cycling team made the annual drive to Tucson for the team’s training camp. All 20 riders made the pilgrimage to the top of Mount Lemmon and bagged between 450 and 550 miles for the week in the process. The 14-hour drive is pretty rough, but the team was rewarded with warm temps, team comradery, and some excellent early-season fitness.

2025 One Speed Open

The 2025 edition of the One Speed Open will take place on March 29th, 2025.

Bike Park Meetup

The Fort Collins Bike Park Collective is hosting a bike park informational meetup at New Belgium Brewing on February 18th at 6:30 pm. Pizza will be provided.

Power Trail to Close

Fort Collins Engineering announced that the Power Trail between Keenland Drive and East Tribly Road will be closed from February 28th until August to construct the new Siphen Overpass
