It’s Time to Fund Kid’s Bikes!
As one of the founders of the Wish For Wheels FoCo program, I'm super excited that our initiative, which has donated over 1,000 bikes and helmets to PSD second graders since 2020, is expanding under a new name. MyCycle will still provide bikes and helmets to second graders at PSD Title One schools but will now have the flexibility to provide bikes to kids in other grades, other schools, other local school districts, and to kids with different adaptive needs. Since Bike Fort Collins is now the sole non-profit administering the program, all of your funds will stay in Northern Colorado.

NoCo Racers at Gravel Nationals
Northern Colorado has 17 racers registered for USA Cycling's Gravel Nationals in Gering, Nebraska, this coming Sunday. Greg Scanlan hopes to repeat as the men's 50-54 champion on the 88-mile course. That category, in particular, will be fun to watch as it has four strong NoCo racers: Scanlan, Skrdla, Workman, and Dority. After winning road nationals, Joe Zukowski hopes to win the 13-14 age group, perhaps with some help from his younger brother Ben, who is also racing in that category on the 25-mile course. Also, look for Whit and Zack to have strong rides in the elites on the 131-mile course. The full NoCo roster with race distances is below and will be updated with results as they come in. As of Tuesday morning, 531 racers were registered.

It's all true. Old Jim Dickerson was also second in his TT. Tony Ricco also had a strong showing in all three races.
