Stadium Crit Series- Results and Photos
The 2025 Stadium Criterium Series wrapped up Thursday night in Timnath, capping off four weeks of fast, community-focused racing on the closed roads surrounding PSD Stadium. The final night saw solid fields, tight racing, and plenty of local energy, marking a strong end to the revived series.

Ten Years Later Kechter Remains Dangerously Incomplete
Today, June 26th, marks the 10-year anniversary of Steven Studt being struck by Jose Pinon while riding westbound on the Kechter Road bridge at I-25. He died from his injuries on July 5th. Ten years later, a mere 128 feet of missing shoulder still marks the spot.

Public Land Sale Blocked by Parliamentarian

Bike to Work Day ’25
June is Bike Month in Colorado, and Fort Collins is once again going all in. The 37th annual Summer Bike to Work Day takes place Wednesday, June 25, 2025 — a beloved local tradition that celebrates bikes, community, and the joy of ditching the car for a day.
Morning stations will be open from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., with afternoon stations running 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Nearly 90 breakfast stations and a dozen in the evening will pop up across the city, hosted by more than 150 local businesses and organizations. Free food, good vibes, and bike checks await.

Two Local Riders Set Out on the 2025 Tour Divide
The 2025 Tour Divide officially rolled out this morning from Banff, Alberta, sending over 230 riders off the start line on one of the longest and most demanding ultra-endurance bikepacking events in the world. The course covers roughly 2,745 miles (4,418 kilometers), tracing the length of the Rocky Mountains along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR), and finishes at Antelope Wells on the U.S.–Mexico border.

Weld County Driver Sentenced in Cyclist’s Death
A Weld County woman was sentenced today, June 13, 2025, to five years in prison after fatally striking a bicyclist and fleeing the scene in Greeley, Colorado, in 2023. Ana Caren Romero hit Michael Wallen while he was riding his bike on 8th Avenue and left without stopping or calling for help. After the crash, Romero drove through a McDonald’s drive-through with her 5-year-old son in the car before eventually returning home. Following an investigation that linked Romero’s vehicle to the crash, she pled guilty to vehicular homicide and was sentenced by Weld County District Court Judge Anita Crowther, underscoring the serious consequences of her actions.

One Mile to Go on Poudre River Trail
The long-awaited final link in the Poudre River Trail is one step closer to becoming reality. According to Zac Wiebe with Larimer County Natural Resources, CDOT has issued the notice to proceed to bid, clearing the way for construction to begin as soon as this summer. The project is expected to wrap up after the 2025 irrigation season, when the bridge over the Greeley #2 Canal is installed.
